Pizza maven here. No NYC snobbery, just giving honest opinions of the greatest food known to humankind; pizza! Tonight, I paid a visit to Robbie T's . First off, Robbie is without a doubt one of the nicest pizza makers; the thanks & appreciation he conveyed was genuine and heartfelt. Not letting that niceness get in the way of my taste buds, I ordered a large pie with half meatball and a large garlic (white) pie. The taste of the crust was superior and baked to a nice finish. The pies are hand tossed, which is tantamount to good pizza. The sauce on the 1/2 cheese was a 4 out of 5; just a hair short of perfect. A little sweet, nothing outstanding or detracting. The meatballs were delicious & plentiful. The garlic pie was awesome, too. The only issue I had with both pies is that Robbie puts a lot, and I mean A LOT, of cheese onto his creations. The cheese throws off the proper ratio of sauce to crust to cheese. The cheese has good flavor, but lacks the stretchy snap I look for in pizza. Nevertheless, not being a pizza snob, Robbie gets 5 stars because at the end of the day, his pizza is delicious. The flavorful crust is simply one of the best in the Syracuse area.

Above and beyond customer service and friendliness! The best small town pizza place, as soon as you walk in Robbie is greeting you while he's running around making orders. Such a kind a genuine person and he asks questions to how you want stuff cooked. We went and dined in and there's a good amount of seating inside for a small pizza place, but also lots of picnic benches to enjoy the weather. My mom chose Robbie T's for her birthday after reading reviews about their calzones. Let me tell you it did not disappoint, my mom is very particular with her calzones and expects a lot of mozzarella and especially ricotta. Check the pictures out because the cheese pull is crazy! She chose a meatball calzone and we got a large cheese pizza and 10 medium wings (we asked for just a little crispy too). The wings came out first and we all loved them, the pizza was not far behind and was pretty good. Solid pizza when your craving it, but it's not NYC style pizza for those wanting that. The calzone was huge twice the size of any calzone we've had. It was delicious and I had some with my mom and she still took half home!! Overall a great time and Robbie came over after dropping of each item to check in on us. Asked how everything was if it was done how we like it. We had conversation with him and got to know him more and he's had his pizza shop for 38 years!!! Just wow! Definitely check them out whether you're in the area or not it's worth the drive!

The food is great but what makes this place stand out is Robbie T himself. It is the only place I know where he answers to take the order and immediately knows who I am and what my order is. Highly recommend this local joint that makes you feel like you are remembered.

Might be my favorite pizza of all time. Yes even compared to NYC & Chicago. Been coming here for over 30 years and Robbie has kept the food and customer service great all this time.

Easily one of the best pizzas in Syracuse. There's something endearing about the place being run by Robbie himself. He's the guy picking up the phone and taking your order, making your food, taking your payment. I normally dread calling in orders, because they're always rushed and agitated if things don't go 100% smoothly. Robbie is very patient, personable, and a super likeable guy. Ordering and picking up is a great experience, and it makes you want the best for the guy. The restaurant has no online presence (only a huge online following!) There are some old pictures of the menu posted on Yelp, but they're from a lifetime ago as far as pricing, so expect the prices to be a bit higher. Also, they're cash only, but they have an ATM in the restaurant. We came here a hand full of times, and he remembered who we were every time we came in. First order we did the half-half pepperoni and garlic, and some "nasty hot" wings. We love it when people have an extreme option. He asked us if we were sure when we ordered them over the phone, and said something along the lines of "All right, your funeral..." That got us wicked excited, because a lot of these places make big claims but then phone it in on the heat. Nasty hot is proper spicy without breaking anything in the process, and the wings were high quality. Both the pepperoni and garlic sides of the pizza were made made perfectly as well. The oily, black and tan dust all over the crust was positively one of the most delicious, finger-licking good experiences we've had with pizza. I'm not always a crust guy, and usually use bleu cheese to get through them. Not the case here, I could eat a pile of these crusts for a meal. On another order, we asked if we could do a buffalo chicken pizza using the nasty hot sauce, because that too was our favorite. Unfortunately, that wasn't an option. He explained that if he put that sauce in the oven, it's so spicy it would essentially tear gas the whole kitchen. Fair enough! So we did chicken bacon ranch instead. CBR pizzas are usually average even from good places, but we were really craving it. Guess what though, best CBR pizza we've ever had. Big chunks of chicken and full slices of bacon. Same perfect dough, cooked exactly soft and crispy enough just like before. We ordered a Calzone and asked for meat lovers. We're trying to like calzones, but most of the ones we get there's just not enough to them. There was a short back and forth going over specific meats, and then he paused and said "You know what, I've got you." When we went to pick it up, he let us know this thing was absolutely packed. Refer to the picture for proof, it was absolutely packed. The calzone was huge, soft and bready. Next time I'd ask for like 2-3 things of red sauce instead of one. We popped in recently for some Sicilian pizza to shake things up, and once again he nailed it. We're not usually fans of Sicilian pizza, at least compared to NY style, but this came highly recommended. I still recommend doing regular pizza (anywhere, not just here), but this was the best Sicilian we've had. Not as high and airy as others we've had, which worked in our favor. We keep coming to this place ordering our least favorite stuff, and Robbie keeps turning it around. If you're touring pizza in Syracuse, there's absolutely no doubt this should be top five at the lowest, no matter where you go.

Well I ventured out to Robbie T's tonight to get a pizza. It was a large garlic with Mushrooms, tomatoes and fresh spinach. To say it was excellent is an understatement. It was cooked perfectly and even after driving back to the hill in Manlius, it was still hot and crispy. The pizza was the perfect amount of garlic, with mozzarella, fresh tomatoes, mushrooms and an amazing amount of fresh spinach. It absolutely was delicious. Robbie T is an artiste when it comes to the food he serves. A perfect 10! Keep up the great work, Robbie T!!!

We checked this place out after seeing it recommended a few times. Everything lived up to the positive reviews. The staff was friendly, food came out quickly, and it was a satisfying meal. For a medium pizza and soda the total was $15, which is very reasonably priced in comparison to other shops in the area.
